About Gareth

Gareth specialises in dotwork, traditional Japanese styles and custom designs – adopting a collaborative approach to his craft. Working closely with his clients, Gareth’s stock across Leeds and Yorkshire has risen considerably over the course of his 15 year career, having worked with some of the biggest names in music, TV and sport.

Based in Thornton’s Arcade in Leeds city centre, Gareth is the co-owner of Snake and Tiger tattoo – an independent studio managed by himself and Chris Lambert. Founded in 2015, the team at Snake and Tiger boast over 30 years of combined experience, and are regarded throughout the North as one of the most professional, independent outfits.

Gareth trained as an apprentice and has been working in Leeds since 2003. While his knowledge and experience allows him to work closely with his clients in bringing their ideas to life, his skills as an artist create timeless pieces of art that they can be proud of.

Both patient and approachable, Gareth strives to create a relaxed atmosphere for anyone in the chair, and will gladly talk their ears off in regard to the ups and downs of Leeds United.

In addition to his work as a tattooist, Gareth’s reputation as an artist continues to grow. Having had his work displayed across Yorkshire and beyond, many of his pieces are now available to buy online.
